At upwards of $9 a sandwich & cash only, I'd expect this place to be a little more accommodating. When I asked to have something re-made because of an ingredient I am allergic to, the barista refused to do so and treated me in a condescending manner for not having read the menu closely enough and said I'd have to pay for a second one. I was a polite customer and didn't deserve or appreciate his attitude. The owner should do a professional development seminar and basic customer service 101. This place won't receive my, my friends' or family's business ever again.

I am from Wyoming. The Columbus Cafe is my daughter's and my place when I am in the city. The Zebra Mocha is to die for but this last early October when we visited the place, the mocha was served in a much smaller cup. I much preferred the larger cup as it was makes for a more enjoyable and relaxing time. Those of you who live in the area might want to bring that to the attention of management. I do intend to visist again. Ken

On a recent visit to San Francisco we happened upon this little treasure. It became our morning spot for the rest of the trip. Amazing atmosphere, fantastic service and it doesn't hurt that the food and drink are superb. Having limited time and a full itinerary, we still chose to linger. You simply must stop by and soak up the very cool vibe of this cute little cafe.

I stopped by there last weekend and the staff is very friendly. I had a cappucino and the foam was extremely fluffy and perfectly balanced. Great Stuff happening.

This place is not to be missed! Large windows and plenty of sunlight, when the sun is out, make this a place you'll want to stay all day. The espresso is top-notch, as is the food and the service--from the friendly and hardworking staff. Try the Zebra Mocha--it's a signature libation.

We stopped here to warm up after coming down Lombard Street. I had a latte and it was very good. I also had a cookie that was tasty. The atmosphere was great. This seems like it would be a great place to hang out.

901 Columbus Cafe is a good place to spend some hours. It's in a good location, with a good atmosphere, with free wi-fi and happy people always ready to help you.
