    What great fun and food!

Having lived in Turkey as a teenager, my visit to A La Turca was awesome - now that I have turned 72! My wife and I were so taken with the authenticity of the foods, and I was joyful to hear the music of Turkish being spoken among staff members. While we live about 7 hours away from San Francisco, we will definitely make A la Turca our "go-to" first stop whenever in San Francisco. What a gem to find on Cathedral Hill!!

A place to bring your best friend, again

Clean, comfortable and friendly. Not fancy, but a place that suits a relaxing time with an interesting menu. Our experience left us with the easy decision to return. Our food was delivered timely and we were pleased with everything we ordered. We were surprised to find that the 'Platters' came with more than was apparent from the menu. This resulted in our ordering more than we would have. But everything was enjoyed either by myself or my wife or both. There were enough variety on our table to give us the impression that the staff is serious about serving good food.

Decent turkish food at a decent price

I've lived in Turkey for a few years and so my bar is a little bit hard to raise, the authentic Turkish food and freindly service made the dining experience a good one, however atmosphere was a little crowded, overall I'd say it's a place worth going to.
