Quite an Experience
My sweetie and I had dinner here with another couple last night and greatly enjoyed our meal. Despite one member of the party wearing sports attire to a pretty elegant dining room, we received excellent service, attentive without being pushy and more than happy to answer questions. We had our choice of a tasting menu or three prix fixe options (3, 4 or 5 courses) selecting from appetizers, pastas, meat/fish dishes, a cheese course and dessert. The menu was quite interesting, with modern takes on traditional italian food. The winner may have been the celery root gnocchi, though my poached egg over morels was delicious, too. The table divided between cheese coursed and dessert, so we had six cheese and two desserts to share. Fantastic! It will bring you a hefty bill, but is worth the splurge for a special occasion.
