Great atmosphere but only okay food
The atmosphere is great, with couch-benches, candles, and nice decor, and good music. However, service was a little slow with only 1 waiter on the job on a Sunday night, though he was friendly. To start off with, the bread served was dry and crumbly, though the olive oil and herbs was delicious. The fish was too dry when we ordered it grilled (choose another method of fish preparation), and the white butter sauce was tasty but nothing spectacular. The Bouillabaisse we ordered was not exactly what I was expecting (had a lot of fish and not enough other seafood), and wouldn't be enough to fill an adult male even though it's listed as an entre. The creme brule we ordered was ruined by the burnt caramelized sugar. This restaurant isn't terrible, though I wouldn't call it good. I probably wouldn't go back to this place, and if I were to go, I wouldn't go on a Sunday night.

A hidden gem
I can't say enough good things about this place. Always fabulous service, great food, simple menu with great choices. One of a very limited number of places in town that I feel at ease bringing a date OR my mother. In seven years of dining here I've yet to have a bad meal.
