Wonderful food, wonderful setting
Great food, attentive but not intrusive staff, in a small, quiet, intimate restaurant who could ask for more? You get what you pay for. Complementary valet parking

Food Carts at the crossroads
The wonder of this little gem is the eclectic taste. A lot of Venice with bits of Eastern Europe and Vienna thrown in. The pan fried gnocchi with a goulash style sauce is heavenly. So is the Brodetto with its assortment of seafood in a savory broth. The rabbit is also very rich and savory. The strudel is not hand-pulled, so I was told, but it is still flaky and richly filled with apples and raisons. The owner/host knows how to entertain as well as to inform, but most of all, he knows how to make the diner feel at ease. The rest of the staff also have the latter skill, even on a very busy night. There is good selection of wines as well as before and after dinner drinks. Valet parking makes thing simple.

Amazing Place
Amazing place. This is a hidden treasure close to the Taylor street cable car turn around. We had the rabbit and lamb but would like to go back to try the halibut. Best gnocchi ever! To live for! Good wine list and owner who knows the meaning of customer service.
