    impressive

If you want to impress a date, take them here. Beautiful interior decor--wood slatted walls that are AMAZING if you're into design. I ordered the special; the salmon was cooked medium rare on a bed of vegetables. The fish was perfect... nicely presented and a large portion too! And the vegetables delicious. My date is vegetarian so he requested something of the chef's choice. The chef fixed him up a plate of five or six different things that looked amazing... I had never been to a restaurant where they fold your napkin when you get up from the table and leave it in a pile while you're in the lavatory. So yes, the service is a good portion of what you're paying for. I didn't see the bill, but I'm sure it was a lot.

One of the best I've ever had

I had one of the most amazing meals ever at Ame. The sushi was super fresh, service was perfect and everything clicked.

The meal I have been waiting for!

Even knowing what I hoped to experience at Ame did not prepare me for the truly amazing dinner I had there. I didn't want to choose an dish I just wanted them all. The sashimi choices are amazing because they are not true sashimi but a delicious presentation of the best of any countries style of raw fish. The crudo is so pure, the poke playful and for the adventuresome Lissa's Staff Meal. In the appetizers and main course again a choice! Loved the Burrata with Farmers Market Vegetables Bagna Cauda and my main course should it be the addictive Sake Marinated Alaskan Black Cod that melts in your mouth or the sinfully delicious Kurabota Pork Chop? The room is beautiful and you can hear your guests and still enjoy the energy of a exciting restaurant. The service is complete with out being fussy. And I loved the 15 sake choices.
