You won't be disappointed !!
Asia De Cuba in SF is great!! The food is excellent, the service wonderful, and the atmosphere is great. The wasbi mashed potatoes is to die for. The food is pretty much worth it. The design of the place is outstanding. The only turn off, is that a block away from Asia De Cuba is a very poor and filthy neighborhood just a couple blocks away from such a great area and restaurant.

Doesn't compare to the NYC restaurant!
I was highly disappointed. I've been to the one in NYC, which doesn't even compare. The service was satisfactory and the atmosphere a bit loud, especially siting near the bar, but the food and price were a major disappointment! The appetizers were pretty good, the calamari and Tunapica (tuna tartar) were excellent (I'd go back, perhaps, just for these menu items), the Lemon Grass Skewered Chicken just ok. The entrees, on the other hand, were *highly* overpriced and *very* poor quality. For the Hunan Whole Wok Crispy Fish, the crab stuffing was not good and for $40 too! Our waiter, on the other hand, was great- very attentive and gave good wine recommendations! They ran out of the second bottle of wine we wanted and gave us a $30 more expensive wine for the same price of the bottle they were out of! I would visit this restaurant in NYC but NOT in SF ever again!

Creative and authentic
Much too noisy, except at breakfast. But the food is terrific, managing to be both authentic and creative at the same time.
