Good Isan-style dishes
Having spent some time in the Northeast of Thailand, Bai Som has come closest to the Nam Tok Neuah (Waterfall Beef) that I had in Thailand. Definitely Thai-style in its flavour and spiciness. Aroi aroi maak!

One of the Best Thai Restaurants in SF!
This little restaurant is certainly one of the most authentic and best Thai places around. I've spent a good amount of time in Thailand and so far haven't found many places more authentic than Bai Som. I'm a vegetarian but others I've eaten there with have all loved the meat dishes too. The sticky rice is great too. Parking around there can be hard sometime but they have validated parking now too!
