Nice neighborhood joint
This place might look a bit funny on the outside, but inside it is a warm and inviting small family restaurant. A true "mom and pop" place, Balboa Sushi House has crowded kitschy decor, pet fish for the kids to feed, and solid sushi and bento. The service is on the slow side, only because it's just Mom and the dishes come as Pop prepares them. Try it if you want a relaxed experience, and lots of smiles from the proprietress.
