Bad Quality Food and Bad Delivery
I'm not a picky eater, but I had to throw this food away. They served some fatty, soggy semblance of chicken and shrimp. I was afraid I'd get sick. Luckily, I didn't, but when I called to complain about the meal, they basically yelled at me and hung up. There's too much Chinese food in SF to make due with this place.

good delivery option
I have ordered delivery from Bamboo about 5 times while in SF on business. While probably not the best in the city, the food has been consistent. They have a great selection, and remembered my name after only 2 orders. I recommend the salt and pepper shrimp and the combo appetizer.

not so good...
this place used to be great...they delivered to my work and i would get nice piping fresh big portions of food for a good value. now they have small containers that serve cold food that doesn't taste the same pretty mediocre food that took an hour...find another place.

Good and cheap
Good food. Cheap food. Cute atmosphere. The lunch special is actually available 7 days a week, which is fairly rare, and everything costs $5 or less. If you go for lunch, they'll bring you soup on the house; if you go for dinner, they'll bring soup and a big plate of cabbage salad at no charge. Living in the neighborhood, I often opt for Tai Chi up the street (esp. for delivery - Tai Chi is much faster, food arrives hotter/fresher, etc), but Bamboo offers the little extras that keep me coming back anyway.
