we were in sf recently and ate here twice, it was so good and reasonably priced. enjoyed 31 and 38!

I love that restaurant. Stayed in San Francisco 5 days and ate there twice and took # 14 twice as well. I wish we had the same restaurant here in Austin.

I have read other reviews and totally disagree. Probably some spoiled ignorant people who think they should be treated like kings. Fact is, the atmosphere is totally authentic and first rate. We get too spoiled here in America and have a sense of entitlement so we end up being demanding. Just take it for what it is, an authentic asian dining experience with excellent food. For the prices they pay, dont expect them to massage your feet while you eat. LOL.

the food was okay.. but the service... wow... they suck. Their attitude toward the customer was vile. They didnt even refill the water, (it wasnt even busy! only like 2 or 3 tables) first we walked in and waiter was like sit there and pointed so, we tried to sit, and then he just grabbed my firend's bag and pulled him out of where we were going to sit, and pointed the seat next and said THERE! wtf!!! he actually pulled him out of the table! and like I said, the restaurant was almost empty. Okay. if it was only that, i wouldn't write this review. After eating, the bill came and it came up to about to $18.73 or something like that. So we left a $20 and tried to leave. Then the waiter came out of nowhere and BLOCKED the exit and wouldnt let us out. Then he was like check the $. Come On!!!! were just ordinary people!

Visited this place and loved the food - my favorite - crab friend rice and shrimp in tamerind sauce (#38). The noodles and bbq was also very good.

This place does not look fancy but the food is great! Great place to take a lunch break on your shopping days.
