I discovered this place just because it's close to my house, however it has never disappointed me since then. Whenever I come in, the place is very welcoming, has availability (what is always surprising, just because i think it's some of the best sushi in town), the food is fresh and the menu is pretty diversified. the portions are big, the price is very fair and the atmosphere is pretty quiet and romantic, although it is designed to be a sleek place. I think its one spot that wasn't glorified yet, but even better for me.....

We went 2 weeks after opening. The restaurant was not crowded, so the service was good and attentive. We ordered a variety of sushi, sashimi, and a teriyaki plate. The portion sizes were decent, and the food was good, but not stellar. Since there are so many good sushi places in SF, I found nothing notable about this, other than a trendier atmosphere than most of the Castro sushi restaurants.
