    Missed Opportunity

Terrific location, wonderful historic building, in-house brewery, what's not to like. Unfortunately, plenty. Starting with the smell -- the place is not clean, and a trip to men's room suggests little effort goes into addressing that problem. Overpriced food that is less than mediocre. And even the room, with a full frontal view of the beach, manages to feel cold and drab. Time for a new concessionaire!

    Poor service

For a place that is supposed to be considered a chill beach atmosphere that is exactly what it wasn't! The host treated us like we had leprosy and the bartender wouldn't even serve us our appetizers. This place is ok on tuesdays when its busy, but I wouldn't give it another thought any other day of the week. If you don't want to get treated poorly when your just trying to have few cocktails with friends then I wouldn't recommend this bar.

    The beer could be better

Beach Chalet is a micro-brew restaurant, and therefore you should order a beer when you go there. Yet the beer could really use some more love, because I'm sorely disappointed time and again about the beer. If you don't like beer, then you will enjoy the view and the over priced food is good, but somebody help the brewmaster.

    Its all about the view

Great place to come to for the view , amazing ocean level views . Easy parking and if its during the day you can take a walk over to the Gardens by the Northern Windmill for a quiet moment. Very good date , special person place to visit.
