There are a number of really top notch coffee houses in San Francisco that TAKE THEIR COFFEE SERIOUSLY. Ea, detail is in place and is consistently and artfully executed with discipline. First of all there is a Real Barista who's technique and appreciation for perfection is in every cup. The bean itself is always chosen, roasted and ground perfectly. They can employ about 3 different ways of brewing the coffees. Ea cup is prepared individually, times, temperatures and all of the 10 commandments of a GREAT CUP are employeed. Bean Stalk is well in the running with Blue Bottle, Ritual, even Site Glass. I am encouraging them to get into the Coffee bean selling business. The sandwiches and salads are just what you want for a quicky on the go.
