A Hidden Gem on Belden Street.
First of all, I must say that I love Belden Place and all of its wonderful restaurants. For those of you who know about this unique little street in the financial district knows whats offered, Cafe Tiramisu (Italian) Cafe Bastille (French) & B44 (Spanish) plus Brindisi and others. But you may not know about the newest one on the block , Taverna, Belden Taverna. I "discovered" it for lunch 3 weeks ago and returned for cocktails and appetizers the following week with friends, and then most recently for dinner on the patio with friends. They loved, I love it and I'm telling you to go and try it out. The food is excellent and offers duck confit for dinner and crab sandwich for lunch, a full bar, fun and friendly staff. Well, I guess that you can say that I love it.
