Great food but service hit and miss
I have visited Bella several times and I have always been impressed with the food. The menu has interesting choices, and it seems everything tastes good. Though I have been very happy with the service there at times, the bad serveice experiences tend to stick out. Watch out for the waiters ignoring you when to them there are more important people in the room.

Great Italian - not in North Beach
After being disappointed by too many of the overpriced, mediocre Italian restaurants in North Beach, I was very happy to find a nice Italian restaurant with great food and good prices. Its a very romantic setting and the service is good. The only thing for me was that there werent too many veggie options, but definitely enough to go there every once in a while.
