Fantastic find on Valencia
My friend and I happened upon this place last night, and boy am I happy we did! The food was absolutely fantastic--I ordered three antipasti as my meal and he had the special of the day--cioppino (seafood stew). I ordered scampi with cannelini beans (crazy good!), roasted beets with ricotta salata, and panzanella with heirloom tomatoes. For a mere $6-7 for each app, the price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity! My friend's cioppino was insane--just the right amount of spice and seasoning, and loaded with fresh seafood--definitely worth the $18. For dessert we shared a dish of mission figs and goat cheese gelato drizzled with rosemary-infused honey ($7). Very unique flavor but very good! For $3, the french press coffee service was such a steal, as it would have easily made 4 cups of coffee. Our server was extremely friendly and professional, and definitely made our meal extra special! The inside of the restaurant was very crowded and noisy so despite the chilly temperature we chose to sit outside. Perhaps not the best idea (it got pretty cold after the heaters broke haha), but that'll be my favorite spot to dine once it warms up a bit!
