OK place to eat, but there are better choices
4th dinner at Caffe Delucchi in about 2 years. Each time the dining experience is getting worse. I won't go back. Too bad... I thought it had potential.

Consistently Excellent
I have eaten at Cafe Delucchi about 10 times. I am amazed at how consistently good they are with their food. First, it is served HOT. I hate warm food. Every time I go there I notice it. Second, their salads are all unique and excellent and served CHILLED. Third, their sauces have a very light yet tasty flavor to them and they leave a very pleasant aftertaste. Fourth, their pastas are homemade and you can tell. They are a perfect weight, texture, and flavor. The restaurant itself is attractive, and you can eat inside or on the sidewalk. In North Beach this can be very interesting. The service has greatly improved since they opened and all of the waiters that have served me recently have been very good.

Delicious Lunches
This is a great spot for a light lunch. Excellent salads and paninis. Small cozy resturaunt with outside seating. Wait staff is very friendly and will always recommend their favorites to you.
