great
I live in the UK and go to the real Italy frequently. This place had the best espresso I have had outside Italy. And very nice pastries for breakfast. Great atmosphere. Very old SF, right down to the leftover beat poet sitting in the corner.

Best coffee in town
Great coffee and atmosphere - feels very 'old san francisco.' Off the beaten path a bit, so there are a lot of locals.
