Last time I was there (7-8 years ago) the food was great, this was some of the most unappetizing mexican food I have ever had. Rice and beans are the cornerstone of a mexican menu. The rice was greasy and the beans had a flavor of old grease and dishtowels. My lovely date and I ordered enchiladas, and tacos. After 20 minutes of eating the same chips I can get at Safeway, the sad excuse for an $8 plate of green enchilada arrived (but without the taco plate). The plate was warm, but not the enchiladas, rice, or beans. The cheese was not even close to melted and the plate looked worse than a teevee dinner, no lettuce or care for appearance at all. I would love to tell you how bad the tacos were, except they never showed up. I finally went to the counter and saw my cold runny tacos sitting there. I had enough, this place has gone to hell, I feel bad for that guy who had the logo tattooed on his arm.
