Not What It Used to Be
Used to be a great place. Recently it seems, they only open when they feel like it. No notice or apology to regulars for those days when, without notice or any posted schedule, they're closed. The food has gotten really greasy, the fish is old, and the prices have been jacked up. An altogether unpleasant experience and I gave it many chances.

If I lived closer...
I swear that I would probably eat here every day... What a lovely, warm, wonderful restaurant we found! The food was awesome, the service was stellar, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming to say the least. I had the Dolmas wrap which was filled with the most succulent lamb, rice, and grape leaf mixture with just a hint of garlic and lemon. My husband said that the Gyro wrap was just as tasty. Before we departed, the cook (I think he said his name was Mohammed) offered us a taste of the homemade Falafel which was to die for. It was moist and delicious, not dry and saw-dusty like so many others that I have tried. Suffice to say that next time we're in the vicinity we will definitely return to this restaurant. Heck, I might just make up a reason to drive to San Francisco just so I can visit again for some great Mediterranean food

A must go to place
I would like to first say to the woman who was unhappy that it sounds like perhaps you were having a bad day because this place is GREAT. Recently remodeled this restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere with traditional moroccan seating ,as well as, regular dining tables. The food was terrific ! The portions are more than enough. Mostly everything is homemade and with such love that you taste all the flavors of what you are eating. The meats are Kosher and the vegetables are mostly organic as they are available. They feature a wonderful dinner menu as well as a Moroccan Menu . One has such choices for eating like no other restaurant that I have been to. The prices are reasonable for the type of cuisine, quality and quantity that you receive. They have an incredible selection of Wines from Morocco. Spain, Lebanon , Italy and France . The Beer selection is 12 on draft carrying premiums beer not only on tap , but approx. 30 bottled...This particular evening I went It was packed with clients new and old and everyone was made to feel welcomed and to be honest I could have stayed all night..no one is rushing you which is a great feeling when you are enjoying the food, wine and the people.. highly recommend this Casablanca to anyone who is looking for great food, a few drinks, and did I forget to mention they are also a Hookah lounge...

Best Little Known Spot in the City
If your looking for homemage organic Morrocan/Mediterranean food with owners that are alwasy happy to see you this is the place. Beers on tap are good and cheap $2-3-4 a glass as well as Pitchers for $6-9. Wolrdly beers in the bottle are many as well. Morrocan/Lebanese wine is tasty as well as their incredible menu for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The decor is very comfortable and reminds me of a night in Marakesh with Hookas to smoke and belly dancing girls. Great place for a date or go with friends. You'll know the spot if a guy calls you "Bello" - thats Halim behind the counter and a cool dude.

Not impressed
The woman how runs the show here is not friendly, the food is of poor quality, the prices are too high, and the lights are too bright at night (like an office) Almost any other place has better service.
