Best Food
All i have to say is that Castagnola's is the best meal and atmosphere on the warf. I have to say it is of the best quality.

Valentine's Dinner
We had dinner at this place for Valentine's. We had a beautiful view, great food and wonderful live music. It was GREAT!

Food was a letdown
Coming from a restaurant that has such a good reputation it was unexpedcted to find the menu we found, the ravioli was tasteless and the crab was served with rice the shell of the crab got mixed with the rice and it was imposible to eat the rice Castagnola's come on you need to change your menu...... we have eaten here before and this is not what we experience before.

Bad service, Burnt food.
The food is reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is nice. The meal was burnt and not complete,The servers did not get our orders correct and the waiter dropped half of my husbands meal right at our table and did not offer to replace it. My son requested another glass of cola. The waiter slammed it down on the table and hurried away like he had better things to do.

Great place!!
When we are in SF, we always go to Castagnola's, it's the place to be! We even went there 3 nights in a row at a stay of 5 days. There are so many restaurants to have a nice diner, but we cannot go home without having at least one diner at Castagnola's.

My personal favorite
I have lived in San Francisco for many years now and of all the resturants that i have been to i have found Castagnolas to be my favorite. The food is exalent and really reasinobly priced. The service was fast and amazing, and you cant forget about the atmosphere. This resturant is perfectly placed it rests above the water so you can look out over the water watching the boats come and go while enjoying your amazing meal.
