Great ecelctic unique food
We had a great dining experience on a busy Thursday night at Cav. Plus were the fact that you can get half portions- of any food or wine- and they only charge you exactly half of a full portion/pour (a rarity these days) . We tasted 7 different wines (ranging from $3.5-$7) and shared 3 "small" food portions (ranging in price from $5-$11), plus an awesome antipasto plater with 3 great cheeses, a sampler of salumi, marianted and grilled onions, plus 2 mini-toasts with different spreads for $16. The only minus was the warm peach cobbler-like dessert with its overbearing cherry and nut flavor.

Best Wine Bar SF
Love this place. Staff is knowledgeable, selections are eclectic, service and food outstanding. A must do!
