    Declining food and service

I used to eat here all the time (for 3+ years) but their food and service steadily declined, and I no longer frequent it. There was one week where I ate there 4 times! The service declined since the management changed (I think it was the owners niece that used to run it, but she went off to Law School). The new managers are not really service oriented. The food kept changing because the chef kept changing. It used to be delicious (btw, I am Indian, and do know what chaat should taste like). The papri chaat hardly ever has enough papri, and often misses the right spices. The pani puri often doesn't have the right mix of channa and aloo/batata (garbanzo beans and potatoes). They often skimp on the chicken in dishes like butter chicken. The management no longer offers some of these dishes a la carte (which is a real shame, because their naan and subji isn't that great, and I don't care to pay more for something I know I'm not going to eat). Anyway, the restaurant decor is nice, but take your money to some of the hole-in-the-walls in the tenderloin if you really want better tasting food (at least there, you don't have any service expectations from the management).

    Really Good Indian food

Interesting place where you order indian food at the counter, grab your own water, silverware napkins etc and they bring the food to you. System works well as the food comes fresh and hot and the line keeps moving quickly. The place is bright and clean and the service is good enough... but the food is AWESOME! They specialize in chaat which are like indian tapas, the somosas and aloo tikki are great, especially with the chutneys. The wraps are also very good, as good or better than any burrito or sandwich in the area, very flavorful. They also have curries, I've tried the butter Chicken which was wonderful and the lamb curry that was so-so. Overall, I am rarely dissappointed.
