Yum
Colibri is fantastic We go there for lunch every time we drive up. Love the bar and all the tequila. Food is great. I love the salsas and the soft tortillas. Their carnitas meal is super flavorful. Everything I have had here is good. Service is good too. Attentive wait staff. Keep up the great work.

Wow! What a great find.
The trio of salsas and handmade white corn tortillas served before the meal were very tasty. Made to order guacamole...yum. The Sunday brunch menu was brief, but I found the Enchiladas Divorciadas. They were fantastic! Zagat rated, but that wasn't known before hand.

Wouldn't Recommend It
I am sorry to say we didn't like this restaurant at all. The atmosphere is okay but it is way too packed full of tables. It isn't at all comfortable. The noise level is fairly high as well. The service was just okay--nothing to rave about. We tried the sangria and it was nothing special. In fact, we didn't get enough ice in our glasses so we had to take some ice from our water glasses and add it in. Don't expect a basket of complimentary chips. If you want chips it will cost you. How cheap is that not to even give you some chips to munch on? As for our meals, we had the tamales and they were so small you needed a magnifying glass to find them. The salad we had was joke. It was beyond sparse. As for the complimentary tortillas, they tasted like rubber which was so disappointing considering we had heard they were good. Oh and everything is "a la carte" which is ridiculous for Mexican food. Imagine having to order rice separately. It's rice, for godsake--one of the cheapest things you can make. Needless to say, we left hungry and obviously won't return.

Fantastic Flavours!
Lovely, warm setting, tasty fresh tortillas and salsas to start off the meal. Prawns in mole sauce with cornbread - delicious! Complex flavours - a meal to remember, and absolutely worth coming back for.

The Real Thing
Authentica Mexico City. Don't expect your Cal-Mex or Tex-Mex offerings here. Not all fine restuarants in Mexico serve typico tacos, chips and enchiladas, and this is one of them. Once seated you will be served warm homemade tortillas with three salsas. Most items on the menu are in the form of small plates. Pozole, carnitas, filet mignon chipolte, mole poblano, hongos, calabacitas and freshly made quacamole (prepared tableside) are but a few of the many items on the menu. Nice bar area with a full selection of tequilas and Mexican beers are featured.
