    Best in the Neighborhood

Yea, I live in this neighborhood and we, currently have 4 Indian-Pakistani restaurants to choose from (another place is in remodeling mode so I am not counting them yet). I just did a menu comparison between them all and I was surprised to see Naan'n'Curry more expensive then two of them. Anyway, Curry Village is my favorite. I like their buffet although I never can eat all that much in one sitting so end up not eating my money's worth--but usually other in my party make up for my lack by eating like superhogs. I have also eating off their menu and liked what we had. I also have done take out which took far longer then they said it would and I had to sit and wait for 30 mins longer--which was ok since I watched Bollywood vids that are always great entertainment. Also watched a family of about 10 Indians down plate after plate after plate (4-7 times) of just the main dishes (more of dessert and sides). I was very impressed and studied their naan scooping technique (which I am a klutz at). I do prefer the tandoori lamb chops at Tikka Masala on 6th Av/Judah. The lady waiter is nice--but I think in the beginning she was shy which came across as snubbing to some (with daily practice she's grown accustom to dealing with people better). The food isn't as spicy as some places (which is good for me) and I'm so happy after I eat here, my stommie is placated into serenity finally and I can go for 2 weeks or more without getting another curry jones. Sigh, if they just delivered they could have my last .5 rating.

    Awesome Hospitality and Food

I have went there twice with my friends. The lady owner is so sweet and nice. The food is just awesome, with so cheap rates, as compared to other indian restraunts. The quality of food id vey fresh and they cook after you order. Sitting arrangement is very comfortable. They have started everyday lunch buffet, wao its awesum, just $7.00, I will go everyday..u must go there, else ur missing the authenticity of the food.
