What Are They Talking About??
They wrote "last time eating there" and "not enough for me to go back to" yet the average score from the total of 3 reviewers (2 neg and 1 pos) are: FOOD............. 3-1/2 stars VALUE........... 4 stars SERVICE ......4 stars I have been going to Don Ramons for years. It's a little spendy, but the food is wonderful, the people friendly, and the service cannot be beat. It's one of the things I brag about to first timers. I tell them that if I drain my ice tea it will be refilled in less than a minute without me saying a word. This has never failed in all the years I have gone here. I highly reccomend this restaurant.

Um, not that great
It's expensive and not very good. Portions are small and it's over priced. Everything is made in meat fat/lard so forget about bringing any vegetarian friends. Also, the drinks aren't that great. That being said, they are super sweet people and are very nice, good service and it's usually very quiet atmosphere. but, that's not enough for me to go back to.

Not great
I been there a about 5 times (work related) and the food it's Ok, I've had better, The margaritas are better if you ask if they could make it from scratch and and to use some good tequilla. You be the judge of that place. As for me last week was the last time eating there.

No Better in The City
Don Ramon's is the best Mexican restaurant in the City, by far. It is consistently good. The food, the service, and the value are all top notch. The family that owns and runs it are very friendly and welcoming. Great bar, fantastic drinks. It's comfortable and it's a great economic value. It is one of my all time favorites.
