    Great place to hang out

Driving by this place you would never know if there were anyone inside or not. The windows are covered with a white cloth all around. When you walk in there's a ton of people. It's like you walked into a small night club or lounge. I personally liked the atmosphere. It was comfortable with nice decor and great music which was played by a live DJ. If you're looking for a romantic evening out, go elsewhere! Anyways, since I did not make any reservations, I spent 30 minutes waiting for a table for 2 on a Friday night. The service was pretty good. Me and my boyfriend ordered the Fulton Valley fried chicken with macaroni & cheese, the Kennebec fries (garlic fries), and the banana pudding for dessert. I've definitely had better chicken at other places and better macaroni & cheese. I would rate this plate 3 out of 5 stars. The Kennebec fries and banana pudding were both pretty good. I would probably go back again. If I do I will try the Jambalaya or roasted chicken.

    Great organic soul food

Farmerbrown is a real special treat, "hidden away" on Mason St. near Union Square (if that is possible) this place is a cool oasis in this developing part of the tenderloin. Both a restaurant and a bar, they serve wonderful soul food like pulled-pork sandwiches, succulent fried chicken, cornbread, and catfish po'boys. I went with a group of 5 friends, really nice to eat dinner and then hang out at the bar afterward in the same location. this place is happening
