Being that I was staying at the Hotel Palomar for my recent visit to San Francsico, I decided to make reservations at Fifth Floor for my sister's (a student in culinary school) birthday. Our experience was wonderful. Besides the amuse, the first courses, a seared Foie and Yellowtail Crudo, were exceptional. The main courses, two fish and two red meat, were great. The desserts were also top shelf. The most pleasant part of the entire experience was the excellent service. Our waiter was helpful, attentive and knowledgable. I will be returning on my next visit.
