Classic Fifties Vibe With Class
I've lived in the san francisco area since 1957, and never hit Firenze before, jsust because it's right off Columbus on Stockton, and not a lunch place...finally dropped in, and was treated like a prince. Lots of energy, fun, old world wood look, smart, attentive servers and bartender, great clientele...people talk to you, servers make you feel like an old regular, and food is much better than standard North Beach. It's got a classy vibe, and makes you think that Sinatra is going to walk in any time. This is a Happening place, and lots of locals are regulars. Hit it just before or after High Tide, so you don't have to wait for a table....maybe you should reserve. My new favorite spot!
