WOW!! food as great as the appearance!
well lets start with the awesome set-up that this restaurant provides, In the middle of the table was a chef who prepared random servings of sushi, and placed the dishes on a row of boats that would float on a river stream going down your table. If the sushi looked tasty you were free to grab that sushi plate off the boat and eat it. you were also able to order your food, but tasting small random servings of sushi was an awesome experience! the price was a little abnormal, didn't quite add up but that shouldnt stop you from having the best sushi/ calamari that you will ever taste!

Bad experience
I will give them this, the food was excellent but, I will NEVER go back. After ordering edamame, and two avacado rolls.. and waiting an hour and a half just for a refill of water.. the total came out to be $50.50. Now, the sushi was only 10.00 dollars, the edamame was around 2.50, so how does that total out to $50.50?

Experience as seen only in movies
Dining at the Floating Sushi Boat was like no other restaurant experience I've had. It was something I've seen in movies, but never in real life. Sit at the counter with a river flowing in front of you. Choose plates off of the boats as they float by. Each plate of sushi is color coded for the price. A menu is available for hot foods like teriaki. This was a highlight of our visit to San Francisco!

Great Experience
I had a great experience at the Floating Sushi Boat. The food was tremendous and the service was just ok. I highly reccomend sitting at the bar for a unbelieveable experience. I highly suggest anyone and everyone to go try it out.

Decent for take-out. Poor dining in
I pick up from here and it's perfectly edible but nothing special. I ate in once and the service was not good. We were ignored, had to ask to be given menus, ask again to order, and ask for the check. It took 70 minutes to have a "quick lunch."
