Best food and value in the Mission dist
The Florida Street cafe is actually a cullinary academy at which the practicing chefs prepare some of the best meals in the city... for a price which is in many cases less then it would cost you to make yourself. I normally order off the specials which change daily... Their Soup and Sandwich combo ($5.75) is always a big hit. On their regular menu, I highly recommend both the pinchos argentinos and the pork chop with papaya salsa. My only complaint is that they are not open for dinner!
