Great Sushi
I found this place through a friend and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety of sushi that is offered. My favorite rolls their are the double albacore and the new york roll. They are beautifully displayed and taste amazing!! I would recommend this place to any sushi lover.

not very good at all
Not what I expected from what the other reviewers say. The sushi quailty was just fair - hamachi not as fresh as other places. The service was poor. I went with my son and I finished my entire lunch before he was served and I had to ask for his service. Also there was only one person on the floor and she was on a cell phone while I was waiting for my menus. The place had a scent of cleaning fluid; they did not have a child's set of chopstix like some restaurants will give you with a rubber band on it; and the miso soup was bland. Forgettable experience.

Good place, solid value
Given the grade inflation on this site, my ratings may be taken as negative, but that's not the case. Good place, well prepared Japanese food, good variety, decent surroundings (except upstairs). The service is sometimes slow or harried, but that's because they are busy. Note that most of the staff are not Japanese, but Korean, and their style is noticeably different. Definitely the best in this corner of town, but not up to the quality of Osaka on Fillmore or Hamano, though Hamano is so expensive it isn't worth it.

You have to try this place!
Run by some awsome people from Japan, they know how to make sushi. The younger cheff is a total flirt and will make you something "very se xy ah?"... garlic albacore nigiri... with the most wonderfull texture. I keep going to other sushi places and wishing I had gone to Fuji. What ever Japanese food you are in the mood for, tonkatsu, cold noodles or udon, serve up the best. You just have to try this place!
