unfortunate decline of a good thing

We have been going to this place since the 70's with it's original family owners. It had the best calzones ever. We were so disappointed on our last visit 11/2/14. Not only had the recipe changed the ingredients didn't seem to be of the same quality. While it's nice to have added thin and gluten free items it is sad that the original traditions that made Giorgio's exceptional in it's day have not been retained.

    Crunchy Pizza

I like their thin, crunchy, and juicy pizza. Love their bread and tomato sauce.

    Consistency

Been going to Georgios for 30 years & it has remained a neighborhood favorite. Why? Simply stated, because of the food, the atmosphere, the wait staff & the value provided. Be old or young Georgois makes you feel welcome!

    Love the Pizza

Great old school Italian-American joint (with the requisite plastic grapes and vines coming from the ceiling), and the pizza is can't miss with salads as big as your head (definintely shareable). I got turned on by my friends who are San Francisco natives. Parking can be a nightmare down there, being so close to New Chinatown on Clement, but it's worth the vulturing.
