disappointing
slimey veggies, anemic flavor. Disapointed in the quality for such a busy place.

Bad!
I ordered the Crispy Chicken with hot garlic sauce. Nothing crispy about it. Soggy chicken but mostly limp shredded bamboo shoots. I ordered it to pick up so I was home before I realized how bad it was. I haven't ordered from them in a couple of years and now I remember why. A shame since they are only three blocks away.

GREAT!!!!
i got off late from work. trying to find a place to eat at night, but no where open. we went to this place. i thought this place was going to be expensive since the outside looks decent and nice . nevertheless, i was suprised to find out their price on the menu. it was pretty decent and affordable price. the service was also good. i would give them a 4 out of 5

Great Chines Food, Hole in the wall!
Great place for fresh seafood, if you like Crab, Oyster and their menu have a great variations. Order Peking Style spare ribs, shanghai noodles ther are out of this world! True they need to train the waiters better and the host should pay attention when order is wrong! This had happened to me. I had complained, and since then I get a special attention from their waitress. Always ask for a lady waitress, as some of their waiters should not even be in the food service business. Great place to bring out of town quest.!

Great value
Irving restaurants aren't the place to go if you want good service. You get what you pay for. Maybe the waiters here won't re-fold your napkin while you make a potty trip, but if you nab a waiter's attention, they will come, and won't forget your request. For a true foody, you eat out for the food. That said, the portions here are plenty, the food selection is wide, and the place opens early and closes really late. I love the fact that it serves Shanghainese dim sum, which came out fresh, delicious, pipin' hot and cheap. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying a hearty fare, with their tables full of big, steaming, colorful dishes. Although the decor was modest, the utensils were clean. I will definitely come again for some Chinese comfort food.

OK food, poor service
I've been here a couple of times for lunch, and while the food I got was pretty good the service both times was poor. This seems to be a problem with most of the Chinese places on Irving, with the exception of Ha's.
