Henry's Hunan is well known to everyone in SF. It has good food and the dishes are reasonably price. Fi you like spicy food, this is a good place. The only negative I have about the food is that it can be very oily! You can see the food shining with oil at times. Their garlic chicken is very unique and tasty, meat pie, chow mein, noodle with spicy pork sauce, and kung pao pork to name a few that are ones you have to try. My experience with Henry's hunan has been a majority positive regarding service and food. The only issue I have is that they can lessen to oil in some of their dishes but otherwise, I do recommend eating here.

Simply put, this is the best Chinese food available anywhere in San Francisco, and possibly the country. In fact , New Yorker magazine called it the best in the country. And no, I don't work for them. Every day there are 2 lunch specials, each for $6.50. Try the hot and sour beef on Thursday, and you will not regret it. The lunch special includes the said dish, as well as a very large portion of steamed rice. The only drawback to Henry's is that if you eat there, the food may take a while to arrive. I always order the lunch specials to go, and they're always ready in about 10 minutes.
