What A Great Find!
We really lucked out on finding a restaurant at the last minute on Valentine's Day! Especially one as impressive as this! Had to wait about 30 minutes so we sat at the bar. This was the cleanest bar I've ever seen! Mojito tasted like Apple Puckers though. Had the spinach and artichoke dip which gets high marks. We were seated in a cozy little corner table that glowed with candlelight. Uber romantic. Our server, Amy, was just attentive enough, and not overbearing. We both ordered the Hawaiin Rib Eye. DELICIOUS! The meat had so much flavor! And the root vegetables I substitued in place of the fries were the perfect pairing. For dessert we ordered the chocolate walnut brownie. Good, but not great. The ice cream that topped it was perfect, though. The coffee was unbelievably good! Brewed by the cup according to Amy. (I found out the brand is Ponte which comes from Seattle.) I took off 1/2 point for food quality because of the Mojito and brownie, 1/2 point for atmosphere because the bathroom was not stocked and not tidy, and 1 point for value because the prices were pretty steep. Service gets 5 points! Overall a great experience, and I highly recommend visiting this restaruant!

New Year's Eve dinner 2007
We had the pleasure of eating at the Houston's in New Orleans. We were excited to find a sister restaurant in San Francisco. We were disappointed at the food and it could not hold a candle to the New Orleans taste. The service was very good, but the food was nothing to write home about for the prices you pay.
