good for brunch
came here for brunch and if you dont mind a cheesy menu (literally, well, everything has cheese in it) and a cheesy atmosphere this place is not bad. the omelettes are yummy but very heavy.

Cool Place
Get there right after work before it gerts crowded (unless that's what you want), grab a beer with a friend and share Da Big Kahuna Sausage and Edamame at one of their heated outdoor tables. Excellent.

Good times at the Hukilau
I've been to the Hukilau a handful of times, mostly to get together with friends for drinks. The atmosphere is great and I've always had a good time. I met the owner and he's so very welcoming and hospitable. He's got a great Hawaiian spirit. Once, I had lunch there with a friend and we loved the food. I'll always remember the Big Island Candies Chocolate Brownie though! This is a must-try dessert because the brownie is candied almost like a candy bar... it's so delicious with ice cream! Bottom line, this is a great place for Hawaiian food, drinks, and spirit!
