Ate at this restaurant this evening, and it was very average. Overdone gnocchi with gelatinous gorgonzola sauce was pretty bad, my husband's fettuccini with bolognese sauce was better. Plus, we felt like we were stuck in the Seinfeld episode about B.O.

I'd like to add one additional comment to the other review that described the restaurant exactly as it is. The food is incredible, and the pasta is home made. This is truely a gem of a restaurant.

This restaurant is an absolute gem. I was introduced to Il Borgo several years ago by friends and continue to take visiting family and friends to enjoy the experience. It's a small venue with only about 15 tables so has a quaint feeling, yet has a lively clientele with a bustling kitchen and Italian music playing unobtrusively in the background. When you walk in you are usually greeted by Mitra. I'm not sure if she owns the place or just runs it, but she is one of the main reasons I enjoy Borgo so much. She is warm, welcoming and always has a smile. She is such a delight to talk to. I go there often enough, usually bringing new people, and Mitra always remembers me. The Lasangetta is a daily special to die for with its cheese and proscuitto rolled up in lasagne pasta, thinly sliced and served in a tomato-cheese sauce. FABULOUS! The prices are very reasonable and average about $17 per entree. Be sure to hit the ATM before you go as it is a cash only operation. It's ok if you forget to go to the ATM, though. They have one onsite for the usual fee. Enjoy!
