Delicicious, quiet, inexpensive
Have been coming to Kim Thanh for years whenever I visit SF. Tonite tried the Szechuan Hot and Sour Soup - huge bowl (small) and the best I've tasted in years. Opted for the crispy chicken chow mein and it came on a pile of thin crispy noodles with fresh baby bok choy in a tasty sauce. Meal came to $16 and was one of the best values I've seen in the City. Fresh lobsters and crab in tanks. Clean, quiet, great service. Don't hesitate, go!

Best Crab EVER
Don't go here. We don't want any competition for a table for the best crab EVER!

Best Crab and Lobster in SF
Recently had dinner at Kim Thanh for the first time and was surprised that I had never heard of this extraordinarily good restaurant before. The crab and lobster dishes were fresh from the tanks and delicious. The split shrimps were tasty and wonderfully prepared. The wonton soup hi the spot!
