We came here thrice and tried the Golden Pumpkin dish (it's fresh, hot and delicious). We also had the sea food soup/noodle (excellent). I would avoid the "spicy soup noodle" because your lips will go on fire! The place is tiny and there may be a wait. parking sucks but if you can get in there, it is worth it. The price is reasonable.

I've been here two months and been deliriously eating my way through the Richmond Asian restaurants. This is the only mediocre meal I've had so far. King of Thai seems to be a small chain with big chain quality and service.

I lived in Bangkok for 7 years That's 49 years anywhere else. Trust me when I say that this is the best (most authentic) Thai food in San Francisco. I love the low key atmosphere and great food for cheap. Aroi Mak Mak, Jing Jing!!

Always a hit with us. King of Thai on Clement hustles and bustles with activites. You enter to see all the cooks furiously cooking with beads of sweat on their brows. 2 waitresses greet you immediately for service. The food comes fast, hot and delicious! Always using white meat chicken-a definite plus for us! Order to go and it's ready in 10 minutes. You can even sit at the counter and they'll serve you hot tea while you wait. It's basic and the decor is lacking. But who cares? It's really all about the food!

Figured we try something new, wish we hadn't. Ordered for delivery...pad thai, red curry w/tofu, crab rolls. Took way too long, food was cold when it got here, pad thai was one big clump and the shrimp had not been de-veined (a little gross). The crab rolls weren't very good either. The one redeeming factor was the red curry...it was actually pretty good, but that doesn't change the fact I won't order from here again. Try Thai Noodle Jump instead (or if you're within their delivery range Bai Som).
