A First-Rate Greek Restaurant
My wife and I have been to Kokkari several times in past years, but it had been a while since we had dined there. So we went recently with two friends who adore Greek food. The place was as good as we remembered -- excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The appetizers were very interesting and the retsina wine we ordered was eons better than wines of that type I had previously had. The 3 others in my party all ordered fish for a main course and were uniformly enthusiastic about their dishes. I ordered lamb shank, which was good though not great; I would have liked it to be more flavorful. We shared a lovely dessert. I will certainly return to Kokkari the next time I want a wonderful Greek dining experience.

Yummy yummy yummy
One of my favorite things to do is meet my girlfriends at Kokkari's after a long work day and order an ice cold martini and get a bunch of appetizers to share. Since Yianni's closed in Burlingame and the city I have been hard pressed to find a great Greek restaurant. Well let me tell you, this is one. I have yet to find an appetizer on their menu I didn't just ADORE, and I consider myself pretty picky. Trust me, this is a MUST TRY!!!
