great food, nice neighborhood place
If you are tired of the long line of hipsters waiting around for a table outside St. Francis, next time stop into La Torta Gorda right down the block. They have great breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a friendly, laid back neighborhood vibe, and a patio out back. Nice atmosphere and decor, you can order take out or sit down and enjoy a simple, delicious, cheap meal, and depending on your mood, order anything from a torta to traditional Mexican entrees to American diner style breakfast.
