I keep going back
I love the La Vie Beeft. Its a little pricey, but I can't help myself. Quiet neighborhood restaurant, but it can fill up on weekends. I've never been dissappointed.

You come here for the CRAB
One of my friend refer this place to me so many time and sunday, I finally decided to come. My boy friend and I, had the Drunken Quail with pomegranet sauce; that was so good, the Crispy pork salad with fresh strawberry; that was excellent and last the La Vie Roast Crab...there is no word in the english language how wonderful the taste was. It was buttery and seasoned with lots of garlic, ginger and with a egg stuffing. My whole mouth and tummy have such a great sensation that is hard to expalin. Everything we tried was soooo goooood. This one of my favorite restaurant as for now. I know that we will come back again and again.

Crab,crab,crab!!
The Crab is the best I ever had. The Service was friendly and helpful. Waiter and Waitress dressed with black and white with ties. My hubby and I ordered the Coconut curry crab with glass noodle stuffing topped with bazilian nuts( finger licken good), Flamming Beef and Prawn wraps, Salt and pepper calamari....oh my gosh it was like heaven!!! The Price here is so low for the quality they used, can't beet that with the Slanted door..

Good food, slow service
The food is delicious, but don't go here if you're in a hurry. My husband and I went to La Vie on Friday, February 9, for an early dinner (it was about 6:30 PM). There was only one other customer in the restaurant, and someone took our order right away, but we had to wait a long time (at least 20 minutes) for our drunken quail appetizer. It didn't disappoint, and we looked forward to our entrees and enjoyed each other's company for another 20 minutes. I had a shrimp dish (can't remember which) that had a slightly oversweet sauce. My husband fared better with the lemongrass seafood combo. Once we were finished, it was again another 15-20 minutes before we could flag someone down for the check."

La Vie, a taste of Vietnam
Everything in this small family resturant is hand pick from the fresh herbs, seafood to the table flowers. The best dishes her is the la Vie roast Grab, the flaming beef and prawns, the bo luc lac and dessert the mango panna cotta. If you cant go to vietnam go to la vie. your dining experience will be the most lightest and fulfilling at la vie.

Not pleased
I ordered the jumbo prawn claypot entree for $13 expecting at least a regular size dinner entree and was surprised to receive 2 small prawns that were mostly head and shell. I could have gotten more food buying an appetizer at a 5 star French restaurant downtown than what I got here. Also, the place was very crowded, I'd say about 40 people, but there were only 2 waiters in the whole place. My service was slow and when I got it, answers to my questions were short and abrupt.
