worth the trip from the east coast
I too am shocked that this place has such few reviews; it is incredible. Even if it weren't vegan I would be impressed by their choices, but the fact that they are an equal opportunity ice cream shoppe is a major bonus. I had the largest sundae they sell & it still wasn't enough. Thank goodness those of us on the east coast now have Lula's Sweet Apothecary to rival Californian's sweet luck.

Shout out for Maggie Mudd
Maggie Mudd is awesome!! If you want non-dairy ice cream this is your place. You won't know you are missing dairy because their ice cream is just that good. I can't believe no one else has reviewed it. I highly recommend the peanut butter palooka and the mint cookie is really good too. I also liked the ginger chocolate and orange chocolate. If you have never been to Bernal it is a cute street. Right near a couple other coffee shops and restaurants that are super good too.
