Great food and beer, fun place

This place is great. We picked due to the fact that it was packed full of people. A good sign. A very hip and cool brewery as well as a homemade sausage maker. Wow. The duck/morel mushroom sausage was to die for. Everything was tasty there. Good beer too. I would recommend and definatly go back.

    The Beer Is GOOOOD!

Took a weekend trip to San Fran, had a local recomend the Magnolia Pub....It was perfect, sitting by the window watching the wide varity of people walk down Haight St. Eating a wonderfull unique sandwitch, and enjoying a nice cold pint of fresh brewed beer, YUM!

    chicken wings

Mmmm... the chicken wings at magnolia are my favorites. So tastey. Most everything that I have eaten here was very good. I also appreciate their desire to keep in local and fresh produce, and sustainable meats!!! The service has been pretty poor in the past, however the last couple times I went it was much better! Delicious!

    Hippie place

Wow... really didn't like this place. Look, I don't like beer - this is definitely a reason I don't like it. It stinks of hops and beer stuff and is steamy and all around, very uncomfortable. The waitresses and well, everybody else in there seemed like hippies. Didn't think the food was anything to rave over, and well, I'll never be back. Call me uptight.

And the Beer goes to 11!

All's good about this place: the food, ambiance, music, cool chicks to hit on @ the bar, but what keeps me comin back is the Mmmm.... STRONG BEER.
