Hot and not so hot!
This is a colorful hip place with excellent food. The lively bar will soothe those who have a long wait for a table. Order appetizers, salad, entree and dessert to be shared by all. They range from very spicy to mild so ask. The menu is diverse and the food unusual. Don't expect the tacos here to be the same as those elsewhere. The chips and salsa are not free. Attentive and helpful service, but the NOISE, NOISE NOISE...

Can I eat at Mamacita every night? Please ... We've eaten at Mamacita on three occasions and each time have been impressed with the warmth and professionalism of the staff and the superb food coming out of such a small kitchen. The chef works magic with scallops and fresh corn. We also have especially enjoyed the carnitas tacos, seared ahi, chicken mole, and the oh-so-yummy desserts. Plus the pomegranite margaritas are awesome. Love, too, the spirit of the place -- warm, inviting, romantic, eclectic. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Go early on a weeknight for a quiet dinner and conversation. Go late on the weekends for a party mood. Highly recommended
