An Experience to last a lifetime

I was over in San Francisco with my family looking for a place to bring them for something different for dinner. The Marrakech turned out to be a wonderful choice. The food was fantastic and my daughter got to dance with the Belly Dancer. This was a casual dinning place which was also nice. There were , however some people who decided to dress up quite a bit. I think it was a 40th Birthday Party. Make sure not to be in a rush. I would leave at least 1.5 hours for dinner. Get the lamb, it is the best!

Poor service and very loud. Average food.

We celebrated birthday of my girlfriend there and had very poor experience: - we made reservation in advance and had 18 people, but they put us in space that was not sufficient for such number of people. Half of seats were very inconvenient. I am healthy dude, but my back hurt after 3 hours of this seating - they brought us 4 consecutive dishes. Between each dish there was pause of at least 30 minutes. We spent there 3 hours eating. I am sorry, my stomach can not handle this kind of meal schedule. After you eat appetizer you expect main entry relatively soon, otherwise you are not hungry anymore. - music was extremely loud. It was impossible to talk. - food was OK, but I think is overpriced. - there was not enough food. We paid $55 per person, but many people were hungry. One positive comment: girl who did belly dance was very good.

    This place is a MUST!!!!!

I came here with some friends last May for a birthday party and we were sure glad this was the place we came too. The atmosphere alone is just awesome. The dancing, the music, it was a blast. The food was absolutely delicious. I had never tasted such incredible flavor. The staff was very friendly and they made you feel very welcome. There is a full bar and a Hookah lounge in the back. I definately recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a "quick trip" to Morocco, without needing a passport. The prices are very affordable for all that you get. We are actually going tonight with a group of peole and I cant wait for them to experience this as well. Dont miss out, this place is fabulous.

The best place for a Moroccan Tagine

My wife and I were in Marrakech, Morocco last spring for our honeymoon. We had the most romantic and exotic experience we could ever have wished for. Since then, we have been trying some Moroccan restaurants here and there in San Francisco to capture the flavorful and delicious Moroccan dishes again. I have to say that Marrakech Restaurant offers the best Tagine and Moroccan bread in the city. Especially Lamb. Just delicious! I highly recommend this place for authentic Moroccan cuisine. The prices are great because you get a whole 6 course meal including dessert in your set menu. We loved the romantic atmosphere, the Moroccan magic drink, and the lovely host who gave us a free hookah on the house!

    Fun place

Incredible atmosphere! I felt like I was in Morocco. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you're got a big group and about 4 hours to kill. The food is made free so it take at least 25 minutes to make but it's more than worth the wait. There's live belly dancing, music, and you can even order a hookah for your table if you like. The service isn't great but you hardly notice with all the entertainment.

    A good average moroccan meal

I lived in Morocco for a number of years, so I was excited to try this place. The staff were great, but the food wasn't too impressive, especially for the cost. The interior was designed well, but it felt a bit worn. I'm off to try some of the smaller moroccan joints in the city.
