We watched our shakes sit at counter, asked mgr if we could have our shakes but new ones. He did so. 2/4 burg's came wrong, my husband ate 1/2 his burg, when he started other 1/2 it was pink. Majority of meat was on this half, so the other 1/2 seemed well. Mgr did not want to do anything. He finally offered a new burg. We declined due to everyone else was finished. By the way, we picked this place for Thanksgiving dinner, we were visiting from O.C. I will never recommend this place to anyone. It's to bad really cute restaurant :0(

We tried this out because of the good reviews, but were extremely disappointed. We sat right away which was good. They sat us in a group of 4 two seaters tables in the middle. That was okay but might make someone uncomfortable. It took more than 20 minutes for someone to ask about drinks. The couple next to us gave up and left. Not sure how long they had been there, they were seated when we got there. Finally took our order. My husband wanted water so we were told to flip the conserve water sign and they would bring it. 15 minutes later they brought my coffee. Then about 20 minutes later they brought our food. Asked for water again and a coffee refill. Ate our food without anything to drink. The food was average at best. Burnt but soggy bacon. Finished eating still no coffee or water. She brought our check after we were finished eating again we asked for coffee and water. 10 Minutes later I took my coffee cup to the counter and asked for coffee and water and was told to go back to my table they would bring it. 15 minutes later brought my coffee - NEVER brought water. At that point we just left. So sub par food and REALLY poor service is how I would rate this place.

The breakfast can't be beat as far as location goes. Sandwiches are good, too.

The food, although American, is pretty good and some of it is even healthy. If you don't want to go to Jack in the Box a few blocks down, you can get something delicious for about 5 dollars more, and you don't have to sit with a bunch of hoodlums. No offense, hoodlums. Although the servers may be a bit slow (there can be a lot of customers on fri/sat), they are polite and patient. The atmosphere, with the exception of the customers, really does make you feel as if you were in a scene from some 50's movie...except in color.
