Best Sandwiches in the Mission
I've been living in the Mission for 5 years. Yes, there are great burritos here, but a lack of good ole American lunch sandwich places - with one exception - Mr. Pickles. Great, fresh food and very good prices. Not really an eat in place though unfortunately. But thumbs up on the food.

the best sandwich in the mission
Mr. Pickle makes the best sandwich in the Mission, and the second best sandwich in the entire city. Sandwiches are big, made with fresh veggies and bread, and the woman that works there is really nice. Their hours are strange, though, which is the only bummer.

bang for the buck!
i've worked in the neighborhood for close to a year and have been to nearly every sandwich shop in the mission. this is BY FAR the best one. the sandwiches are delicious, huge, and cheap. the service is quick and friendly, though i'd recommend taking your food elsewhere to enjoy it as there's really nowhere to sit. A+!
